Girl survives fall into family's pool

A 14-month-old girl who was found floating face down in her family's pool Saturday evening apparently gained access to the water by crawling through a "doggie door" at the family's house.

Faith Brown was treated at Oak Hill Hospital in Spring Hill, according to a sheriff's report.

According to the report, the child had been watching television in the living room with her two older sisters, ages 9 and 12. Their parents and grandfather were in the front yard of the house at 10323 Belltower St.

One of the girls saw her sister floating in the pool. Kathy Brown, the girls' mom, jumped into the water and pulled Faith out.
